Your home is the place where you spend the majority of this precious time with your new little one. It is filled with people you love, things you love, and memories. It is also the place where your baby feels most comfortable. Having your newborn photographs taken at home will bring a deeper level of meaning & magic to the memories we capture together.

Yes! I always say that the best prop for a newborn is their adoring family. All newborn sessions include pictures with parents and siblings. Let me know if you would like to include any extended family members or pets.

Generally, newborn pictures are taken sometime between 2 and 3 weeks old. However, I feel that "Newborn" can honestly apply to a baby anytime in the first 6 months of life. If you've put off taking pictures, I know how crazy those first months with a newborn can be, don't worry. It's better to take newborn pictures later than to never take them at all. You will be thanking yourself years from now for just taking them regardless of your baby's age.

A full gallery for a full session includes at least 50 digital images, typically more. Depending on your package, you can then either select your favorites or download your entire gallery.

A full gallery for a mini-session includes at least 10 digital images, typically more.

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks. Depending on your package, you can then either select your favorites or download your entire gallery.

I do not offer prints at this time, only digital downloads. However, you receive a print release with all pictures in your package and are free to print them anywhere you would like. For personal use only.

I get this question a lot. Your home doesn't have to be "picture-perfect" or even perfectly clean to get amazing pictures. Typically, for a newborn shoot, we only use one or two rooms for almost all the pictures anyway. So there is no need to worry about deep cleaning your whole house.

Ideally, maternity pictures are taken between 28 – 32 weeks along in your third trimester (around 7 – 8 months pregnant). That is the sweet spot where you are showing really well, but you're not so far along that you are uncomfortable and less likely to have the baby before the session date. Unless you are having twins, then try to schedule some time between 26-30 weeks.
